These waterproof Coroline corrugated bitumen roof sheets are a cost-effective solution ideal for sheds, garages, agricultural buildings and more. Manufactured from durable, lightweight bitumen-saturated organic fibres, these long-lasting sheets are free from hazardous and toxic materials, such as asbestos, making this an environmentally-friendly roofing solution. My shed roof is chipboard covered with worn bitumen sheeting. Once the sheeting is removed can I fix corrugated sheets directly to the chipboard or will I need to fix battens first?

I would put this on a walkable, solid boarded roof, will the corrugations of the sheet itself stand very occasional walk to clear leaves. The roof itself is very strong and walkable.

We would not advise to walk on this product

I have been looking at these sheets for a hipped shed roof. How can the hip joints be made with this material?

Answer:

There are no hips that you can buy, so you would have to make your own on-site alterations to get the ridges to fit.

Can this be used to cover a vertical shed wall which is battened off ?

Answer:

I can see no technical reason why you couldn't, I would just overlap them twice as much and seal the edges

What is the distance required for the fixings?

Answer:

You are required to have fixings on every corrugation at sheet overlaps and at the top and bottom of the slope, the fixings for the centre can be every other corrugation.
