The mat is incredibly durable with a density of 950 kg/m³, as well as flexible and simple to install with straightforward methods.
The mat comes in handy for protecting the waterproofing membrane from the nasty effects of point loading, abrasions, blunt materials, concrete casting and backfilling applications. It can also be utilised as long-term, permanent protection in order to increase membrane lifespan.
Perfect for a variety of horizontal and vertical applications, Wallbarn's Protecto-Mat protects green roofs, podium decks, inverted roofs, regularly trafficked roofs, parking areas and walkways. It is also compatible with underground waterproofing for basements, foundation walls, drains, ditches and tunnels.
Manufactured from rubber crumb that is sourced from recycled tyres, this mat is supplied in a non-rigid roll. The sustainability of this mat is commendable, as is the durability thanks to the bound rubber crumb particles and polyurethane resins. Together they create a robust membrane that doesn't delaminate under elemental exposure, is non-toxic to handle, lightweight, and tough enough to withstand heated materials and concrete pour.
