Find out moreBoth UV stable and heat resistant, the Glidevale Protect VP300 is a medium-weight and vapour permeable underlay that features better vapour resistance than what is required by BS 5250. As well as being stronger than many other underlays in its class, it is suitable for all pitched roofs, especially those in applications that are fully supported.
The VP300 is both CE marked and BM TRADA certified, and it offers an economical option when a higher specification underlay, for example VP400 PlusLR, is not needed. It is handled easily due to its lightweight structure and can be cut to size when necessary.
In addition to providing a secondary defence against wind-driven rain and snow, the VP300 also prevents wind uplift loads on the roof covering. It can also serve as a temporary roof covering before the slates or tiles are installed.
