The double-pleated design also ensures there are no visible cords as they are hidden between the two layers of cloth. Due to the aluminium coating between the cloth layers, the VELUX Light Dimming Energy Blind for flat roof windows also improves insulation against heat and cold and provides better indoor comfort. The side channels of this VELUX Light Dimming Energy Blind are made of white-painted aluminium. They prevent light leakage around the edges and create a seamless finish with your VELUX flat roof window. Solar powered blinds are perfect for manual and solar INTEGRA® roof windows that are out of reach. The blind comes with a wall switch operated by a standard battery that is recharged by solar power which is good for up to 600 operations even if there is no sun for recharging. The blind is easy to install as no wiring is needed. Manual operation is also possible. Please note: The VELUX FSK Solar Light Dimming Double Pleated blind can only be used in flat roof windows with a clear dome as flat roof windows with an opaque dome do not allow enough sunlight to get through to charge the battery of the blind sufficiently.
