Alongside an impressive sound insulation of up to 35dB, it features great rain noise reduction to allow for a restful night that goes undisturbed by heavy rainfall. Rest assured your furniture will be protected from harmful UV rays with the UV filter, and the outer pane is enhanced with toughened glass for defence against external environmental elements. Further, the safety lamination limits the spread of glass fragments that could otherwise fall into your room if a window is broken.
Featuring --70 laminated glazing, this VELUX vertical element has a 4mm toughened exterior pane with a low-E coating and a 6.4mm laminated interior pane which offers additional safety. It ensures enhanced noise reduction in comparison to --34 and --59 glazing.
