This light beige VELUX blackout blind is the perfect neutral coloured blind that will allow you to completely block out any daylight from entering a room without impacting the décor. VELUX blackout blinds have been manufactured by VELUX, specifically designed to fit VELUX roof windows. The VELUX blackout blind has been designed in such a way that they can create total darkness within a room, whether it is during the day or at night.
The blackout blind sits within aluminium side rails to prevent light leakage around the edge of the blind, and is manufactured from an easy-to-clean, decorative material. The standard brushed aluminium trim is available for all operation options, or choose white-painted aluminium for your solar or manual blackout blind. The white aluminium trim is recommended for white-painted and white polyurethane roof windows, as the frame of the blind will fit seamlessly with the inside colour of the roof window.
The light beige blackout blind from VELUX is also designed to be energy efficient, with an aluminium backing to minimise heat loss and also prevent heat gain on warmer days. This means that as well as preventing sunlight from entering the room when desired, the internal environment will also be kept at a comfortable and healthy level.

The electric blackout blind is generally designed for VELUX INTEGRA roof windows, which are electrically operated, and the electric blackout blind is operated with a remote control. The electrically operated blackout blind is perfect for hard to reach window blinds, as well as for ease of use and efficiency.
Solar
The VELUX blackout blind is also available with a solar operation. The solar powered blind can be used on both manual and solar operated VELUX windows, and is operated with a rechargeable solar powered battery, which can last for up to 600 operations, even when there is no sun.
