The white VELUX pleated blind has been designed to control the amount of direct sunlight that enters the room through a VELUX window, and can also be used to provide privacy, reduce sunlight glare, creating a more comfortable environment to live or work in.
Maximum control
The pleated VELUX blind is “flying”, meaning that it sits within side rails and is neither fixed to the top nor bottom of the window. This provides maximum flexibility, meaning that the blind can sit at any point across the window and with varying lengths, depending on how much light you want to enter through the window, and where the direct glare is coming from, whilst still providing a view of the outside to some level when desired.
The VELUX pleated blind in white can be operated in different ways.
The standard VELUX pleated blind in white is manually operated – the blind can be adjusted using control bars that are situated at both the top and bottom of the blind, and can be raised or lowered as desired.
If the VELUX roof window is in a high up or hard to reach area, the manually operated pleated blind can be controlled with a control rod, which can be extended with rod extension pieces and adaptors.
The VELUX pleated blind is also available with electric operation. The electrically operated VELUX pleated blind is remote controlled, designed primarily for use with VELUX INTEGRA roof windows. The electric pleated blind is operated with the pre-paired wall switch and multiple blinds can be programmed into a single wall switch for simultaneous operation.
