To create a complete flat roof window, you will require a polycarbonate top cover – this is available in either clear or opaque, depending on the amount of light or privacy you require.

The hidden rain sensor within the VELUX INTEGRA flat roof window is an innovative addition that helps ensure the roof window is always closed during bad weather, even when you’re not in. This means that the building can be empty, but the window is still open to provide ventilation, and if it begins to rain the window will automatically close.
The clear polycarbonate dome has been manufactured to protect the roof window from rain, snow and hail, but it also acts as a noise insulator, minimising the amount of noise that transfers through the window from the external environment.
Although the VELUX INTEGRA features some relatively complex mechanics and technology, the motor and rain sensor are hidden from view, creating a clean and consistent design with minimal visual impact.
