Advanced Thermo-Technology™ transfers less energy and retains warmth and comfort. VELUX roof windows also succeed with 180° rotation. This movement lets you secure the window into place with the built-in barrel bolt, meaning that wiping down both sides of the glass is incredibly easy. You can air out rooms when windows need to be shut thanks to the clever ventilation flap, and the ventilation filter rejects the ingress of insects and dust.
VELUX standard glazing provides toughened outer panes which have the strength to tolerate environmental factors, as well as UV filters that save furnishings from sun damage. If the glass breaks, the safety lamination holds it together, so it won't disperse. The great rain noise reduction means your night's sleep will go uninterrupted as the sound of rain pattering against the glass is softened.

Is this a direct replacement for on old (25 years) Velux wooden frame window. Is the internal frame size the same to match the window reveals formed to fit the original (is the groove in the frame the same size) and is the unit the same depth from inside to outside? This would match an old Velux M04 but if replacing you need to take out the frame and sash of the old unit to replace with this and also replace the Flashing kit. You cannot just switch the sashes over I am afraid. If you needed more details please email sales@roofingsuperstore.co.uk.

HI There Does this window have a trickle vent built in? What flashing kits would i need for this window? I have pan tiles but they are not a flat tile Thanks Carl

The Velux windows have a vent opening bar, so you can crack the bar open slightly for trickle ventilation, then pull it down fully to open the window.
For pantiles you would need the EDW Flashing kit, please find a link below.
