The VELUX smoke ventilation window is specifically engineered to promptly release excess heat and smoke while adhering to all EU regulations. It has the capacity to swiftly open to a full fire position in only 60 second upon initiation of the smoke ventilation process. Equipped with double glazing, the VELUX sloped roof window provides several benefits such as a laminated inner pane for safety purposes which prevents glass from falling into the room in the case of breakage, a toughened outer pane that offers added strength and resilience against external environmental factors and a UV filter which protects your furnishings from the sun's harmful UV radiation which can cause fading. Additionally, it incorporates a unique feature that reduces rain noise by up to 35dB, providing sound insulation against heavy rainfall for a peaceful environment.

Please note:

For geometric smoke ventilation, this system is certified to EN ISO12101-2 for roof pitches between 15° and 90°.
For aerodynamic smoke ventilation, this system is certified to EN ISO12101-1 for roof pitches between 15° and 60°. For optimised aerodynamic ventilation areas, it can be upgraded with an optional KFD external wind deflector.
The EDL flashing is not suitable for use with interlocking slate.
