Designed to suit slate roofs with slates up to 8mm thick, this VELUX EDLS flashing kit will allow you to fully integrate your 118cm x 140cm VELUX GGLS FFKF08 3-in-1 Roof Window and create a secure and watertight installation. They also ensure safe and effective water drainage from your roof via the built-in guttering system.

The flashing is suitable for roof pitches between 15° and 90°, and the kit includes additional BDX and BFX insulation collars to help ensure optimal energy efficiency once installed.

  • Will ensure your VELUX GGLS 3-in-1 window is completely watertight
  • Designed to suit standard slate roof coverings (up to 8mm thick) and other flat roofing materials such as roofing felt
  • Suitable for roof pitches of 15° to 90°
  • Ensures a sleek and discreet installation
  • The kit includes a BDX insulation collar and BFX underfelt collar for enhanced energy efficiency
  • Manufactured from corrosion-proof materials
  • The colour of the flashing will match the claddings of the roof window

This EDLS flashing kit will provide a thoroughly watertight seal between the window and slates and can even be installed on roofs with flat roofing coverings, such as roofing felt and membranes. When installing a standard VELUX roof window flashing, install the brackets at the top and the bottom of the window frame at the red line level.

Which installation products are included in the VELUX EDLS 2000 Slate Flashing Kit?

The easy-to-install VELUX BDX Insulation Collar insulates around the VELUX roof window frame, which reduces heat loss from your property and eliminates the risk of cold bridges. The VELUX BFX Underfelt Collar helps ensure a watertight seal between the roof and window, as well as minimising the risk of condensation.

Please note:

  • The EDLS 2000 flashing is not suitable for use on roofs with interlocking slates.
  • You are advised to remove leaves and other debris from your flashing at least once a year to allow rainwater to run freely from your VELUX window.
