Question:
Can these shingles be layed over Celotex insulation which has a silver foil facing? My concern would be nailing the shingles into place onto the Celotex?
Answer:
Please call in and speak to one of the team as you cant not place shingles directly on shingles
Question:
Good morning I have a log store 4m x 1.22 m. I am minded to fit bitumen shingles and my query relates to the underlay. The boarding is waterproof except the edges. The drip tray lengths are potentially awkward ..sharp edge at about head height. Is the underlay flexible enough to be wraped around the board edge and fixed on the reverse side. Also, can the underlay and shingles be glued or screwed in place. Thank you
Answer:
You could wrap the underlay around the boards, the shingles themselves must be nailed on and use some sealant to stick the tabs down.
