No, this wouldn't work and could damage the GRP. There isn't a product that I could recommend, unfortunately.

Please could you tell me if Ubiflex high tack sealant is suitable for sealing the flashing to polycarbonate sheets? If not what should I use? Thanks.

Answer:

The suplpiers cannot guarantee it would work with Polycarbonate I am afraid, it may be better to select a Lead Alternative with self adhesive backing like the below options.

Some silicones react with lead flashings. If I apply high tack to lead will it have an affect?

Hi Tack is for use with Ubiflex so may not work, we would advise to use something like the sealant linked below.
