According to previous studies, 75% wool in combination with recycled fibres outperforms products that feature a greater amount of wool. This loft insulation enhances performance and provides a product that is safe to handle, as well as beneficial to indoor environments. This Thermafleece insulation effectively absorbs harmful airborne substances in your home.
This Thermafleece insulation is supplied with a compressed form to increase convenience and provide 50% more reduction in transport impact, but will return to its original 100mm thickness as you unpack it. The insulation material is designed to last, in turn offering long-term moisture regulation and thermal and acoustic performance.
This pack includes three items and has a 7.22m² coverage. It is appropriate for all floors above DPC, timber frame and solid walls (internal), loft and warm roofs, and acoustic insulation. You can also use Thermafleece for airborne sound reduction of Rw = 40dB.

Yes this would be suitable for use in a thatched roof, it compares well both on thermal performance and they are treated with a borax solution which fireproofs them.
