Meeting EN 13859-2 requirements for walls and EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing, it has high breathability and excellent water resistance.
Coloured white on one side and light grey on the other, with no images or text on either side, except a 150mm overlap line, this Thermafleece membrane consists of three layers; an internal breathable microporous film and two external layers of non-woven polypropylene.
For the installation, you should fix this membrane to the wall structure, ensuring the higher layers overlap with the lower layers. Work from the base, moving upwards with minimum overlaps of 100mm on the horizontal joints. Vertical laps must be at least 150mm. Do not start a vertical lap joint within 300mm of a corner. The bottom timber needs to be protected by an overlap. Secure at appropriate internals with stainless staples, galvanised nails or similar fixings that will be permanent.

Can Thermafleece Breather Membrane be used to support rockwool insulation between floor joists which are laid on a concrete base? The objective is to insulate the floor, keep the insulation above the concrete base and to allow air to circulate within the subfloor void, in particular to help keep the wooden joists dry.
