I have numerous longitudinal cracks in some corrugated asbestos roofing sheets in a workshop; will this tape adhere to the asbestos to form a waterproof seal from underneath / inside the workshop, please?

Technically yes, but you would be better of using a fibre paint

Is this the same as the stuff you see all over Facebook that they use to seal massive water leaks on pipes and tanks. I have some cracks in cast iron down pipes that is are in side an enclosed riser that I want to temp repair. Hopefully this tape would do that job.

Answer:

We cannot comment on if it is what you have seen advertised elsewhere, but this is butyl backed strong waterproof tape so should work fine for a temp repair as you have outlined.

Can it be used for decking joists protection like butyal trex joist tape?

This is just a standard Flashing tape I am afraid and is not designed to offer any special protection for joists.

Is this available in white?

Answer:

I am afraid not, we do not have any Flashing Tapes that are white in colour.
