Description

Sedum blanket green roof system is the perfect way to create a lush and healthy instant green roof for your building. Our pre-grown blanket contains a variety of carefully chosen sedum species to flourish on a roof and look great all year. Protection fleece (3.5mm) provides added protection to your waterproofing membrane. Rigid moisture retention and drainage board (20mm) with bonded filter fleece regulate the moisture content within the substrate layer. Extensive substrate (60mm) provides a root zone for long and sustainable plant growth. The sedum blanket (20mm) includes 8-12 species specifically chosen for green roof application.

This system retains rainwater, reducing runoff and aiding in stormwater management. It helps reduce the carbon footprint, with around 239g of carbon reduction per square meter. It also increases local biodiversity by supporting insects, with an 8-12% increase in insect population per square meter. The sedum plants are hardy, drought-resistant, and require minimal maintenance compared to other green roof systems. Sedum is resilient to various environmental stresses, including drought and extreme temperatures, making it suitable for diverse climates.
