Designed for the reduction of impact sound transfer under carpeted areas, this SilentWool Acoustic Insulation Underlay is a roll of 9mm thick Sheep Wool Insulation, which can be used as a premium carpet underlay. It is suitable for use under new or existing carpets in refurbishment projects or new builds.

This SilentWool Acoustic Insulation Underlay is especially popular in older houses where there may be existing gaps in the floorboards, allowing underfloor drafts to make a room feel cold. The thick layer of this SilentWool Insulation under a carpet will also act as a long-lasting underlay, protecting the carpet from premature wear and tear. This SilentWool Carpet roll is 10m in length with a density of 750g/m².

Ionic Protect sustains and protects the sheep wool insulation, acting as a natural moth repellent and deters the fibres from being eaten. Its performance has been checked and confirmed by an independent laboratory (CUAP test).
