Additionally, it serves as a reliable tanking system for below-ground waterproofing on substrates like concrete, brickwork, blockwork or masonry constructions, as well as for damp-proofing solid floors. This versatile mastic asphalt waterproofing system is a proven solution for roofs exposed to reasonable loads and traffic, such as heavy foot traffic or light plant usage.

Distinguished as a polymer-modified roofing-grade mastic asphalt, ShieldFLEX R retains its integrity at lower temperatures and exhibits enhanced flexibility for areas with more movement compared to conventional roofing-grade mastic asphalt. When installed correctly, ShieldFLEX R stands as an exceptionally durable waterproofing system, capable of accommodating greater traffic and usage than alternative systems.
