This machine-made alluvial clay plain tile is versatile and durable as well as immensely easy to cut, meaning it is a brilliant choice for your complex roofs or vertical cladding applications. It is manufactured from the highest quality alluvial clay, originating from the planes of the river Humber.
Designed with strength that promotes long-term use, this tile will weather and mature naturally as time passes to give an authentic charm, elegance and character. The tiles have a coverage capacity of 60.0 tiles per m² (roof) and 53.0 tiles per m² (vertical).
For roofing installations, you will require a 65mm headlap with 100mm batten spacing, while for vertical installations, you will need a 38mm headlap with 114mm batten spacing. When laid on your roof, the tiles will weigh 60kg per m², while on vertical applications, they will weigh 53kg per m².
