Find out moreIdeal for elevating your roof's aesthetic, this 20/20 Roof Tile offers an innovative adaption of the classic plain tile. With a modern interlocking design, it provides outstanding flexibility and performance for your roofing needs. Manufactured from pressed natural alluvial Humber clay, it delivers enhanced longevity and striking natural beauty.
With the charm and texture of clay's inherent irregularity, this 20/20 Roof Tile adds a unique character and depth to your home. Its exceptional colourfastness ensures that your roof maintains its vibrant hues, withstanding the elements. Engineered to perform at pitches as low as 15°, it is highly adaptable to suit various architectural styles and roofing projects as well as low-pitch extension roofing work.
By using 50% less CO2 compared to traditional clay plain tiles, this 20/20 Roof Tile is an eco-friendly and sustainable option. Additionally, it significantly reduces the number of battens required per square metre of roof area by 60%, minimising material consumption and transportation.
At a 100mm headlap, this 20/20 Roof Tile utilises 22.7 tiles per square metre and is suitable for a minimum roof pitch of 15° while for a 75mm headlap, it utilises just 20.5 tiles per square metre and is suitable for a minimum roof pitch of 22.5°. For a secure installation, you will require a minimum headlap of 75mm up to 120mm with batten spacings ranging from a minimum of 210mm up to 255mm. When laid, the tiles will weigh 45.5kg at a 100mm headlap and 41kg at a 75mm headlap. Each tile weighs 2.0kg, while 1000 tiles weigh 2.1 tonnes.
