GRP is a very strong and tough material. GRP has seven times the flexural strength of steel but GRP is very lightweight and flexible. It has high energy absorption properties which make it impact resistant and requires less maintenance.

GRP roofing technologies are tried and tested so are extensively used for the refurbishment of existing & new roofs, by architects, local authorities, roofing contractors and major building contractors throughout the UK.

Roofing Resin has been formulated to give you excellent wet out when applying to our fibreglass matting. Once cured this resin has fantastic flexible proprieties that is required on a GRP flat roof.

UV Resistant Grey Roofing Topcoat has been formulated to give your roof excellent protection against all the elements the weather is likely to bring. It has excellent flow out properties and is so easy to apply with either a polyester roller or brush.

To enable both Resin and Topcoat to set (cure) you need to add a catalyst / hardener. This is called MEKP which is methyl ethyl ketone liquid; you need to add at a rate of
between 1 and 4% by weight depending on the weather conditions.

This is not a one or two coats system. If you have a 30m2 roof. You would need to use all the mix in a 30m2 kit. If you need help please call in and one of the team will be more than happy to help

GRP needs to be laid onto boards so you could not go over felt I am afraid.
