  • There are 1080 Roofing Superstore slates per pallet and each pallet weighs approximately 1.7 tonnes.
  • These slates are commonly delivered on a six-wheeled lorry (11m long and 2.4m wide) with a tail-lift facility to offload on solid, level ground with a pump truck. Non-compliance with delivery restrictions can result in additional delivery charges. If you require a crane or small vehicle offload, please notify us at the time of placing your order, as additional charges may be incurred. Please allow 5% extra in the ordered quantity to cover acceptable breakage in transporting natural slate products.

We do not stock these in our own warehouse, the suppliers is based in Weston Super-mare, if collection from there is an option for you please email your enquiry to sales@roofingsuperstore.co.uk for us to look into for you.

Coverage is 13.4 slates per m² so we would advise getting 500 to have a few extra in case of wastage on site.

how thick are the slates and can I use copper disc rivets?

Answer:

Yes you would use disc rivets when fixing these. The thickness is approx 4mm

How strong are these?

Answer:

These are a sturdy and hard wearing alternative to natural slate, if you would like a sample please email sales@roofingsuperstore.co.uk with your name/address and we can send one to you.

Can this product be fitted with slate hooks? Can they be supplied without being pre-holed?

Yes these can be fitted with hooks, but cannot be applied without hooks I am afraid.
