Description

The Gull Wire Half-Round Ridge Bracket 150mm is a highly effective solution for deterring seagulls from landing and nesting on roof ridges. Made from durable Grade 304 stainless steel, this bracket is corrosion-resistant, ensuring long-lasting performance even in harsh weather conditions, including coastal environments where seagull activity is most common. The triangular design supports up to three parallel runs of wire, creating an effective barrier along the roof ridge to prevent seagulls from landing.

By preventing seagulls from perching on roof ridges, this system helps protect properties from the damage and unsightly stains caused by guano buildup, ensuring that rooftops remain clean and well-maintained. This bracket is a simple, cost-effective, and humane solution for managing bird-related issues on rooftops.

Features & Benefits: Gull Wire Half-Round Ridge Bracket - 150mm

  • 180mm X 4mm single head posts
  • Max 3m linear spacing
  • Can be screwed down or glued to ridge tiles

Where to Use:

Stainless steel ridge bracket designed to carry up to three parallel runs of wire along roof ridges to keep seagulls from landing on the ridge tiles and fouling them.|The bracket base is designed to fit round ridge/hip tiles.

How to Install:

  • Bracket can be mechanically fixed with screws in the holes provided in the base or it can be bonded using surface activator and SMX Hybrid polymer adhesive, sold separately. The latter method is ideal for fragile tiles that do not take kindly to drilling.
  • You will also need screw pin and plug counter-tension fixings, gull wire, micro springs and 1mm copper ferrules.
  • Brackets should be counter-tensioned at each end of a run using screw pins and non-sprung wires.
