In the year 2014, a milestone was celebrated as it marked the 175th anniversary of the inaugural sale of the first Rosemary tile in the United Kingdom. Ever since, Rosemary clay tiles have become indistinguishable from the quintessential architectural style that defines Britain. The Albury and Hawkhurst variations boast a captivating orange-red surface with a sanding finish, adorned with sporadic black patterns that emulate the weathered appearance of aged tiles. As the latest addition to the range, the Victorian tile offers a darker and more rugged texture than its predecessors, providing your roof with an enhanced depth of character.
Each Rosemary Craftsman tile features a textured upper surface and underside, complemented by textured lateral edges and a frontal edge that emanates natural authenticity. Additionally, you will appreciate the delightful irregular distortion along the front edge and the varying lengths of the tiles when hung. With a traditional aesthetic, the tiles flawlessly replicate the charm of handmade clay tiles while possessing the resilience and strength expected from brand-new tiles.
For a secure installation, you will require aluminium alloy nails, sized 40mm x 2.65mm.
