Description

The wall lining can be tiled using suitable grout and adhesive or coated with a Steridex protective finish. This Promat Masterboard is a versatile Class 0 building board which is ideal for use in a wide variety of semi-exposed and internal applications. As a material with limited combustibility, it can provide up to 30 minutes of fire protection in constructions. It is straightforward to work with and install and resistant to moisture. What's more, it will not decay or rot.

Answer:

No, this is made from Calcium silicate. Please also see below the safety information ref disposal from the manufacturers.

'The board is not classified as a dangerous substance and so no special provisions are required regarding the carriage and disposal of the product to landfill. They can be placed in an on-site skip with other general building waste which should be disposed of by a registered contractor. Promat MASTERBOARD® is not load-bearing'.
