Find out moreAvailable in a range of colours, this Pigeon Bird Netting from PestFix is a popular method of protecting structures against common species of urban birds. When installed correctly, it can be used confidently in places with high levels of bird infestation and where birds roost at night.
This net is manufactured from knotted polyethylene. It doesn't absorb water, meaning that it won't stretch and is chemically inert. PestFix nets are UV light stabilised and appropriate for use in direct sunlight in various climates. It is expected to resist UV degradation in excess of 10 years in average UK sunlight conditions. PestFix nets are also constructed from monofilaments that have been designed for bird net systems. Extruded to 0.3mm thick, they are twisted into a 12/9 strands thick twine.
Nets can be made to your required dimensions, and manufactured to the nearest whole meter. For instance, if you need a 22.5m X 31.2m net we can make a 23m X 32m net that you can easily trim down on-site with netting shears (NT125) or scissors. The minimum width available is 2m.
This Cut-To-Size netting production service is fantastic for nets with one or both dimensions over our Stock-Size limit of 20m. It is also great for a vast quantity of non-stock size nets sub 20m, to save waste.

Question:
Is this product fireproof?
Answer:
None of the netting is fire rated, the flame-free netting (which only comes in black with a red fleck) will just turn to ash instead of melting when a fire occurs.
