Their slates have stood the test of time, with some roofs lasting over a century before needing replacement. In fact, the historic St Asaph Cathedral had Penrhyn slate on its roof for an impressive 400 years before it was repurposed. The undisputed quality and durability of Welsh roofing slate make it highly sought after for prestigious and heritage projects. Please note:

  • We recommend adding an extra 5% to the ordered quantity to account for any acceptable breakage that may occur during the transportation of natural slate products.
  • This slate is typically delivered on a six-wheeled lorry, measuring 11 metres in length and 2.4 metres in width. Equipped with a tail-lift facility, it will unload onto solid, level ground using a pump truck. Failure to comply with delivery restrictions may result in additional charges for your order. If you require a crane offload or small vehicle for delivery, please inform us at the time of placing your order, as this may incur an additional fee.
