This Spanish Natural Slate is named Passaro after its quarry of origin. Classified as an ultra-grade slate, boasting a smooth surface and guaranteed resistance against discolouration, it has been pre-holed for easier installation on roofs with slopes as low as 25° in moderately exposed areas and 30° in severely exposed areas.

This slate is a durable and long-lasting option, featuring a smooth finish and uniform thickness ranging from 4mm to 6mm. This consistency results in an even roof slope. Valued for its reliable, traditional and aesthetically pleasing appearance, this Passaro slate has an acceptable level of carbon content. It has gained popularity due to its exceptional quality and durability, reflected in the 100-year guarantee.

Please note:

  • Our slates are typically delivered on a six-wheeled lorry (11m long and 2.4m wide) with a tail-lift facility to offload on solid, level ground with a pump truck. If the lorry is unable to access your site and off-load safely then an additional delivery charge will need to be made.
  • Non-compliance to delivery restrictions may result in additional delivery charges. Should you specifically require a crane or small vehicle offload, please notify us at the time of placing the order, as an additional charge may be incurred. Please allow 5% extra in the ordered quantity to cover acceptable breakage in installation or transportation of natural slate products.
