Constructed from high-grade Aluzinc® coated steel, this Metrotile Bond Profile comes in a selection of six colours with traditional granulated finishes. Thanks to the dry-fix installation method, it is remarkably resilient against vandalism and extreme weather.
Each tile, equivalent to eight conventional roof tiles, delivers outstanding protection and can be fixed from vertical down to a 10° pitch. With a .900mm steel gauge and overall tile size of 1330mm x 370mm, it will offer coverage with a 1257mm linear width and 370mm length, which equates to 0.46m² or 2.15 tiles per m².
For secure installation, using 50mm x 2.8mm coated nails is recommended to fix your tiles either with a power tool or hand nailing. Each tile requires four nails for a robust fixation. You should allow 5 linear metres of battens per m² (plus wastage) using 25mm x 50mm battens with rafter centres of 450mm to 600mm, 50mm x 50mm battens for 900mm to 1200mm rafter centres and 50mm x 65mm battens for up to 1500mm rafter centres.
