A perfect solution for capping the end of your overlapping slate ridge run to create a protective and aesthetically pleasing finish to your roof, this Mayan RealRidge Natural Slate Overlap Ridge Cap is available in a variety of angles to suit different roof pitches and comes with fixings included.
This tile provides fortuitous ridge ventilation equivalent to a roll-out ridge system, meaning there is no requirement for you to use a roll-out fixing system. It is manufactured from premium quality 6mm thick grey roofing slate and is chemically and mechanically bonded to a proven long-life GRP liner, which will offer excellent weatherproofing.
Its variable overlap creates a traditional aesthetic that will blend seamlessly with natural slate roofs on older properties. The overlapping arrangement and tile's extra-wide full cover 185mm wings also allow for course alignment and enable you to arrange your ridges equidistantly for a neat, professional finish.
This 105° ridge cap is suitable for roof pitches of 30° to 37.5°. It has a minimum overlap of 125mm above a 35° roof pitch (375mm gauge), while the minimum overlap is 150mm below a 35° roof pitch (350mm gauge).
