This RealRidge Natural Slate Overlap Hip End from Mayan comes in a range of different angles to suit different roof pitches. Straightforward and hassle-free to install, it includes all the fixings you will need to ensure a secure and long-lasting fix.
Thanks to the way the tiles are overlapped, this ridge tile will provide your roof with fortuitous ridge ventilation. This ventilation is the equivalent of a roll-out ridge system, meaning you will not need to install it in conjunction with a roll-out fixing system. Its inconsistent overlapping design creates a traditional aesthetic that will blend seamlessly with natural slate roofs on older properties.
Manufactured from premium-quality grey roofing slate and measuring 6mm thick, this hip end is chemically and mechanically bonded to a proven long-life glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) liner, providing excellent weatherproof properties.
The minimum overlap is 125mm above a 35° roof pitch (375mm gauge), while the minimum overlap is 150mm below a 35° roof pitch (350mm gauge). Designed as a narrow hip for hexagonal splay bays or conservatories, its overlap design and full cover 145mm wings also allow for course alignment and enable you to arrange your ridges equidistantly for a neat, professional finish.
