Find out moreFrom Marley's assortment of concrete interlocking tiles, these 420mm x 330mm Riven Edgemere tiles have surfaces that closely mimic a natural slate finish. With a single-lap design, they can be installed with the broken-bond laying technique quickly and effortlessly alongside Marley's full range of ventilation and dry-fix systems.
What sets these Riven Edgemeres apart is their profile, which is around 40% thinner than standard interlocking tiles, granting your building project a sleek and elegant aesthetic and stunning kerb appeal. Concrete interlocking tiles offer a contemporary alternative with smooth appearances and a reduced environmental impact. They are made from durable concrete while still being a budget-friendly and affordable option for your roofing needs.
Suitable for pitches between 17.5° and 90°, these tiles are best fastened using the advised 45mm x 3.35mm slate nails with a minimum roof headlap of 75mm (22.5° and above) or 100mm (below 22.5°) and a maximum roof gauge of 345mm. The tiles have a net roof covering capacity of 9.7 tiles per square metre at a 75mm headlap or 10.6 tiles per square metre at a 100mm headlap. When employing a 75mm headlap, the tiling will weigh approximately 44kg/m² (0.43kN/m²), or 47.5kg/m² (0.47kN/m²) with a 100mm headlap.
Per net roof, 2.9 linear metres of battens per square metre is required at a 75mm headlap or 3.1 linear metres at a 100mm headlap. As per recommendation, 38mm x 25mm battens (fitted to BS 5534) should be used when the rafter/supports do not surpass 450mm centres. 50mm x 25mm battens (fitted to BS 5534) are advised for rafters/supports that do not exceed 600mm centres.
