Hi I am Lionel Winston and had Marley Interlocking tiles fitted to my new house in 2012. I am considering having Solar Panels fitted and would very much like to know if there are any special difficulties to be considered when lifting the tiles for fitting the panels if indeed it's possible. I was told by my architect that these tiles would last a lifetime if left alone. Regards Lionel
Answer:
There should be no issues fitting solar panels with these tiles, but we would suggest consulting the contractors who would be fitting the panels.

Any guarantee with these tiles? The colour last?
Answer:
The suppliers advise the below on these...
'Typically, roof tiles are expected to last for around 60 years as the production process is very similar across manufacturers, and despite differences in the sand or coatings used, most tiles would have a comparable 60 year lifespan.
It’s important to note that a 60 year life expectancy is the expected service life of the product in normal conditions, when correctly installed. This is not a guarantee or warranty of its longevity.'
