Find out moreThese Mendip interlocking concrete roof tiles by Marley boast a timeless double pantile design. Pantiles, renowned for their captivating s-curve profile, provide an elegant yet rustic look for your roof. Excelling in strength and performing effortlessly at pitches as low as 15°, they are an ideal choice among both builders and specifiers alike.
As a perfect alternative to standard plain tiles, these concrete interlocking tiles deliver a contemporary roofing solution. With their sleek and smooth appearance, they radiate aesthetic appeal while minimally impacting the environment. With a simple installation process, they are incredibly budget-friendly and robust, thanks to their concrete construction.
With a 75mm headlap, you can achieve a net roof covering capacity of 9.7 tiles per square metre, while a 100mm headlap will allow 10.5 tiles per square metre. In terms of roof weight with the tiling, a 75mm headlap bears approximately 46kg/m² (0.45kN/m²), while a 100mm headlap increases it to around 49kg/m² (0.48kN/m²). To ensure a reliable installation, 70mm x 3.35mm tile nails are recommended. Adhere to a minimum 75mm headlap and a maximum roof gauge of 345mm for optimal structural integrity.
For every square metre of net roof, accommodate a 75mm headlap with 2.9 linear metres of battens. When opting for a 100mm headlap, equip yourself with 3.1 linear metres of battens per square metre. If your support or rafter intervals span no more than 450mm centres, choose 38mm x 35mm battens fixed to BS 5534. For larger intervals of up to 600mm centres, use 50mm x 25mm battens, also fixed to BS 5534.
