Find out moreThese Anglia concrete tiles by Marley are single-lap interlocking tiles that capture the timeless allure of traditional clay pantiles while featuring a distinctive bullnose leading-edge design. With their lasting beauty, they are available in three stunning colours that gracefully evolve with each passing season.
As a superb alternative to standard plain tiles, these concrete interlocking tiles boast modernity. Their smooth and polished appearance is ideal for enhancing the aesthetics of any project. Not only do they have a minimal environmental impact, but they are also easier to install and budget-friendly. Thanks to the use of concrete materials, they ensure a robust structure.
You can achieve a net roof covering capacity of 15.7 tiles per square metre at a 75mm headlap or increase the density to 17.1 tiles per square metre with a 100mm headlap. The approximate roof weight of the tiling is 47kg/m² (0.46kN/m²) when employing a 75mm headlap or 51kg/m² (0.50kN/m²) with a 100mm headlap. You can secure your tiles with precision using the recommended 38mm x 3.35mm nails while maintaining optimal performance with a minimum roof headlap requirement of 75mm and a maximum roof gauge of 312mm.
The battens required per net roof are 3.2 linear metres per square metre at a 75mm headlap or 3.5 linear metres per square metre using a 100mm headlap. For rafter/support distances not exceeding 450mm centres, using 38mm x 25mm battens (compliant with BS 5534) is recommended. Alternatively, for larger rafter/support intervals not surpassing 600mm centres, opt for 50mm x 25mm battens (also compliant with BS 5534).
