From Mardomes innovative range of dome rooflights by Ariel, this Mardome Trade manually opening dome and kerb with an insulated PVC upstand has triple glazing with a textured finish that coordinates high levels of light transmission with privacy while impairing the view and objects through the dome.
Manufactured from impact resistant Marlon FSX Longlife polycarbonate, this rooflight is less than half the weight of glass but 200 times stronger. With double sided UV protection, this polycarbonate dome has long-term weatherability and blocks up to 98% of harmful UV rays from entering the sheet to the residents beneath the rooflight. With a contemporary and stylish appearance inside and out, this rooflight delivers a clean white kerb with sleek lines that complements the streamlined low rise glazing for an elegant finish.
Providing outstanding insulation without compromising on the quality of natural light transmission, this triple skin Mardome rooflights dome achieves a uValue of 1.25W/m²K while the centre pane reaches a uValue of 1.8W/m²K. The multi-wall kerb helps to obtain higher levels of insulation while the distinctive glazing cassette enhances thermal performance with additional energy efficiency from the triple glazing.
Designed for an easy installation, this Mardome rooflight comes complete and ready to fit. The multi-wall kerb is durable and resilient to damage throughout the fixing process. This rooflight features a factory fitted membrane clamp to the kerb which keeps the rooflight felt or membrane in position during the installation and stops the roof covering from peeling back once mounted. The specially created kerb foot ensures you can finish the roof covering without the necessity for any timber fillets.
