Find out moreFeaturing an in-line and discreet low profile for an aesthetically pleasing look, this Manthorpe Non-Profile In-line Roof Tile Vent is designed to provide a quick and straightforward solution to the problems of roof space ventilation and mechanical extraction/soil stack termination through a flat tiled roof.
This tile vent replaces a single tile and maintains an unbroken appearance on the roofline, whether used at a high or low level. Consisting of a uPVC top and polypropylene base, it is compatible with a wide range of tiles, including Marley Modern, Redland Mini Stonewold, Sandtoft Calderdale, Russel Grampian and Lagan Flat interlocking tiles.
The tortured path through the 4mm louvred flyscreen grill and internal weathering geometry is ideal for maintaining 10,000mm² of free airflow whilst channelling any water ingress out of the vent and onto the roof covering. Its base outlet feeds directly into the roof space, while the integral sidelock clip ensures a secure fit.

Question:
Hi, I would be interested in buying the Manthorpe Roof Tile Vent but I have a bit of concern with snow. What happens when it snows heavily and it doesn't melt very quickly? Would the warm air from a kitchen extraction fan be enough to help clearing out the snow on the vent? Thanks.
Answer:
These are designed in such a way that any moisture drains away rather than blocking the vent.
