Description

Providing an unobtrusive, cost-effective alternative to traditional loft space access, this GL250-03 Drop Down Loft Access Door is ideal for replacing existing loft hatches. The door features a twist-action, three-point closing mechanism and a unique hinge system, enabling it to be hinged down or removed from the frame entirely for unobstructed access into your roof space.

For installation, start by preparing a 562mm x 726mm opening in your ceiling. Then, remove the frame from the door and position it squarely into the opening, fixing it in place with the screws provided. Finally, replace the door into the frame, ensuring both hinge lugs are correctly located. Secure the door by turning the catch anti-clockwise.
