Selected and produced at quality deposits in Papagaois, Brazil, this slate is made from a natural material with virtually no unstable minerals, such as carbon and graphite, that could potentially hinder the structure and impede the expected lifespan. Lovat Brazilian natural slate roof tiles are intended for long-term use and, when installed with the correct methods and guidelines, can even outlive the building.
Manufactured from a natural sedimentary stone, this Brazilian natural slate is routinely tested to meet BS EN 12326-1 for roofing slate. Impervious to the damaging effects of UV light and sunlight, and with a commendable resistance to acid rain, these roof tiles are not only pleasing to the eye but are fantastically resilient and reliable.
