Find out moreManufactured by a family-run business in the UK, Lightweight Tiles has been a prominent supplier of eco-friendly and robust tiles across Europe for several years. These tiles possess exceptional durability and are lightweight, making them a versatile choice for various construction projects. They are quick and easy to install, crafted from environmentally friendly recycled polypropylene with a natural stone granulate coating.
From new builds to non-traditional and traditional houses, flat roofs to pitched roofs conversions, over-roofing of asbestos, felt, or industrial sheeting, and even for applications like carports, porches, sheds, conservatories, garages, stables, outbuildings and summer houses, these tiles are well-suited. Thanks to their ultra-lightweight characteristics, they offer the convenience of DIY installation and can be placed over existing roof structures and on prefabricated buildings, such as polycarbonate conservatory roofs or shed roofing felt.
You can easily saw or cut these tiles when required. They can be installed from an inclination of 10° up to 85°, are mountable at temperatures from 8°C to 50°C and are completely weather resistant down to -20°C. Non-corrosive, UV resistant and colour-fast, they also offer excellent sound absorption and good thermal insulation.
The assembly of these tiles is quite simple as they easily slot together, following a traditional tile-laying method. All five components, namely the Pan Tile, Ridge Tile, Ridge End Cap, and Dry Verge Tile (both Left and Right Versions), can work seamlessly in kit form to create a well-constructed Lightweight Roof.
Please note:
