Find out moreThis Loft Roll 44 by Knauf is available in various thicknesses and is ideal for the rigorous thermal insulation of pitched roofs at ceiling level. As a highly versatile, energy-saving choice, it is also suitable for floor insulation.
When used at ceiling level, this loft roll is typically fitted in two layers, with the first layer positioned between the joists and the second layer over and at right angles to the joists.
This high-performance product consists of a flexible low-density glass mineral wool quilt, which is lightweight, resilient and non-combustible. This roll is 1140mm wide and partially perforated to produce either two rolls that are 570mm wide or three rolls 380mm wide, making it a highly convenient solution.
This Knauf loft roll is designed to meet strict British and European standards and has impressive thermal conductivity and thermal resistance.

It can be however, we would recommend some kind of netting or a brether membrane underneat to hold it in place.
