Question:
Hi, I have a log cabin coming and would like to order your green roof shingles. The cabin is 5mtrs by 3mtrs. So I'm guessing the needed roofing is 15mtrs. I'm confused that the description says 2m2. which I guessed is 2 square mtrs. but under coverage it says 11mtrs.
Answer:
Each pack covers 2m² when laid, the 11m refers to if you are cutting them down to make ridge coverings.
Question:
I am looking at IKO Armourglass Plus Square Butt Roofing tiles as above. Are they stuck on or nailed?
Answer:
You would fix each of these with a couple of clout nails, then a dab of sealant under the tabs. We advise 1kg of clouts per 4-5 pack of nails, and one tube of lap sealant per 2-3 packs of shingles.
