The sculptured structure adds style with the tapered base edge, creating a visual straight-line effect for a neat aesthetic, while the more curved profile gives continuity to the finished appearance.
Designed to provide clearance for a guttering installation, the system's ridge caps have a universal design with integral closures to fit the most common ridge tile types, either angle ridge or half-round tiles. Additionally, the shape of this Dry Verge Unit reduces water run-off, guiding the rainwater to drop off rather than run down the gable end and minimising water staining while optimising performance. The batten gauge of the dry verge system can cope with anything from 260mm up to 355mm.
This dry-fix Verge Unit avoids the use of an undercloak and all the issues associated with mortar use. It can coordinate with the Universal Eaves Starter Unit, which includes a cut-out section to allow for guttering whilst blocking off the verge to stop small animals from hiding in the roof and evading gutter interference. Batten end clips and starter units also provide greater fixing security, and no extra pieces are required to finish the end cap detailing.

Yes, there are not exposed batten ends to fit to you may need to run a batten down the verge to be able to fix them.
