This Universal Dry Verge Eaves Block End with a black finish is part of a mortar-free, all-weather Interlocking Dry Verge (IDV) system that brings enhanced design features and a visually pleasing appearance to the market.
Super quick and easy to install with a simple clip-on, the system has been created to deliver clearance for the installation of guttering and the ridge end caps are universally designed with integral closures to suit either half-round or angle ridge tiles of the most frequently available ridge tile types. The sculptured design provides a stylish aesthetic, with the tapered base edge creating a straight-line effect for a sleek look, while the curved design gives continuity to the finished appearance.
With several subtle details, the system optimises performance while minimising water run-off, channelling rainwater to drip off instead of running down the gable end to reduce water staining. The batten gauge of the dry verge system has the greatest range variation in the market, coping with anything from 260mm up to 355mm.
The universal eaves starter unit has been created to avoid gutter inference and has a cut-out section to accommodate for guttering whilst shutting off the verge to prevent small animals from hiding in the roof. The starter units and batten end clips also ensure advanced fixing security without the need for extra pieces to finalise the end cap detailing. Being dry-fix, it avoids all the problems associated with mortar use and does not require an undercloak.
