Equipped with a complete loft hatch system that effectively seals to the ceiling, the hatch is thermally insulated and maintains loft or ceiling insulation, in turn reducing heat loss. Furthermore, the seals in the system help to minimise the chance of condensation by limiting the amount of water vapour migration.

I currently have a Glidevale LA1 Loft hatch is the AH4 the new equivalent in relation to size.

As long as the dimensions match it should be ok, however, I can't say if it's a direct replacement

I have previously had a Manthorpe loft hatch the opening has been cut to 550 x 720. I need a push up hatch would the AH4 be a suitable replacement or is it too small. Thanks

Answer:

The AH4 is to suit a trimmed opening size of 717mm x 555mm so is pretty close to the opening you have, may just need a little adjustment on installation.
