Renowned for its exceptional durability and impressive lifespan, this slate has been recognised and approved for use by the Snowdonia National Park Authority since 2007 as it meets the stringent criteria for colour, texture, and weathering characteristics set by the Blaenau Ffestiniog area.

Please allow 5% extra in the ordered quantity to cover acceptable breakage in transporting natural slate products.

Question:

I am looking to specify a 'Canadian natural slate' as requested by an LBC planning officer, in order to match as near as possible, to an existing slate size of 555 x 305 x 5mm on a listed building. I need to achieve a minimum pitch slope as possible in severely exposed conditions. I have seen a Glendyne slate which achieves 22.5 degree pitch but is smaller than the existing slate. Are there any other slates available to me?
