Forticrete concrete plain tiles are through-coloured for a high-quality aesthetic. Designed to improve air circulation between the tile and batten, they also have a low centre of mass and low step height to reduce any effect of wind uplift while maximising restoring moments of the tile.

You can choose from a charming collection of colours to ensure you're set with the perfect finish for your project. Thanks to its unique top shape, this Forticrete Gemini Interlocking Roof Tile features the visual aesthetic of a double camber finish while maintaining the benefits of a flatter design. The hanging nibs are engineered and positioned for maximum strength.

  • Suitable for use on roof pitches 35° and above - 60/m² (65mm minimum headlap)
  • 268mm length x 165mm width x 12.5mm thickness
  • 243mm hanging length and 165mm cover width (53 tiles per m² of coverage)
  • 60-year guarantee

For straightforward installation, Forticrete has manufactured this plain tile with two nail holes to be easily fixed with 38mm x 3.35mm aluminium nails when it comes to its use in vertical tiling. The nail holes are positioned approximately 40mm from the side edges and 35mm down from the head of the tile. To install Forticrete concrete plain tiles, make sure they are laid halfway across the width of the tiles below in broken bond courses for any pitched roofs from 35° and above with a maximum of 65mm headlap for roofing and a minimum of 35mm for vertical tiling. They will also need to be fixed at least every fifth course for roofing and every course when vertical tiling.
