They can be installed on a rafter pitch as low as 10° and offer exceptional protection against harsh weather conditions with wind barriers behind leading edges.

Engineered to withstand harsh and challenging elements of British climates, Centurion by Forticrete roofing products combine state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing methods to produce reliable roofing solutions. They also offer hidden fixings including tile clips, as well as a full range of dry fix fittings.

These tiles are suitable for pitches from 10° to 12.4° with 17.5/m² tiles required at a 100mm headlap with 275mm to 285mm batten spacing. They are also suitable for 12.5° to 44° pitches with 17.5/m² tiles required at a 100mm headlap with 265mm to 285mm batten spacing.

For rafter pitches below 22.5°, your tiles should be clipped and fitted with a tile clip over the underlock. It should be nailed with a 50mm x 3.35mm aluminium nail into the batten below.

  • Kitemarked: to BS EN 490 1994

Please note:

  • If you are using verge clips, you will need to use half tiles. Left and right-hand verge tiles are available on request.

Yes to both answers. However, the window will need to be a GBL type - I will email you the details

Will these be ok on an 11 degree pitch?

Answer:

Pitch: 10° to 12.4° pitch - 17.5/m2 (100mm headlap / 275mm - 285mm batten spacing)

Is there a dry verge system for this tile?

Answer:

to the best of my knowledge they do not make one  for the centurion, however, please call in as we may have an alternative solution

How do I go about getting a sample please I’m struggling to find the direct manufacturer online to get them to send me one

Even at a higher pitch it is still advised to use the clips rather than nailing them.
