Flexitec 2020 seamlessly integrates the perks of fibreglass with the adaptability of an overlay system. As a result, it delivers full overlay and new deck capabilities for high performance across different applications and roof surfaces, such as GRP, felt, concrete, asphalt, PVC single-ply, metal details and approved insulation boards.
With a rapid curing time to provide a finish suitable for walkover in 30 to 60 minutes, Flexitec 2020 presents a seamless membrane that has no joints, welds or weak points. It is a great system for roofs of all shapes and sizes and has no need for expansion joints. It suits application temperatures from 5°C to 30°C, allowing cold applications to boost a higher degree of safety and no requirement for open flames and other hot works. An additional anti-slip finish can be purchased for balconies and walkways.
Flexitec 2020 can be repaired and overcoated without grinding. Single-coat applications offer a 10-year repair system and two-coat applications provide a 20-year repair system. Installations handled by trained installers will provide the two-coat system with Res-Tec's reliable 20-year materials guarantee.
